Probably I would never have walked the Lendava hills if business trips hadn't taken me to this end. It would really be a shame to miss this little piece of our little country too.

Nicely arranged town, the wider countryside too, friendly people and impeccable bilingual signs and tourist boards enable a pleasant walk around even for a traveler who decides on the spot without any map or at least basic terrain knowledge.

True, Lendava is far, at least for most of us, and for mountain lovers it's not on the radar basically, but if you happen to find yourself in this corner it's worth stopping a bit and looking around, it's nice. nasmeh
Town hall. Despite its small size, Lendava is definitely a town, not a village.1
