Today Domen and I managed to do a solid full-day tour in the afternoon. We started a bit after 3pm from LR, went up the marked path to the plain V Gubah, there found the PP crossing under the wall of Požgana mlinarica, up the PP ledge to the top of PM, from the top followed a long descent along the Mlinaric ridge to the junction of the hunting path in Kot, about 10min from Požar. Solid tour, solid timing, back at the car after 6h and 30min. Pictures tomorrow, the pig enjoyed immensely, AS on PM would really like to tear it down. I can add at the end that we actually did PP7, just in reverse direction only, that we didn't descend to Vrata, but back to Kot.

Incredible what kind of passage the PP tracers Vodeb and Zupančič found, Šodrovski and alpinist enthusiasts must see it yourselves. This time we did it differently, one could say mirrored from LR along the Kot valley via Jakijeva path to the spring, from there just a leisurely walk to the rock barrier on the left (PP). From there we crossed pathless to the right, under the ledges of Požgana mlinarica, up the ledge to the saddle between right and left summit (crumbly, exposed, simply extremely annoying spot) along the cut traverse-ridge path to the left summit PM (summit log). Descended the entire ridge PM-RM-ten minutes before Požar steeply down into the forest along the hunting path to LR. Descent description in a few words? Wilderness, solitude, scrambling along the ridge, incredibly exposed and beautiful PP ledge... If the description attracted you, only one thing left... nasmeh

Warning: Despite our timing, this is a full-day tour, path PP 7 surely leads through the wildest and most exposed (of course also scenic) world. Sometimes the ledge breaks off, need to find a bypass. The gully between Mlinaricas is a nice scree slope, if you give in to the direction you end up on an anthill, otherwise one big PP poetry in difficulty and strenuousness. Mlinarica is much wilder than I expected, if you have fitness you reach it in less than 4 hours, access to V Gubah is around one and a half hours. But warning, when you're at the top the entire ridge in descent follows, here I could stop and start. but I won't, let everyone see for themselves, just one advice, GO SLOWLY! With this stage I almost finished PP, when I do /you will already know. Thanks for following my feats.

Since the mountaineering company with which we roamed the mountains in the old days didn't respond to the friendly Sunday invitation to group attack the ridge between Vrata and Kot and promenade over Črna gora, Požar and RM finalize on panoramic PM, I decided to set the tour in solo style a bit bolder. Yeah, I wisely tell myself, standing by the car in Lengarjev Rovt, ascent from Kot along the famous, but as it turned out later on the terrain, almost imaginary PP path (Planica - Pokljuka) through SE wall of Požgana Mlinarica will be just the right challenge for a man who didn't swim in burnt soup. Said and with a lot of misery barely done.

Already the beginning, when I had to find the PP junction from the marked Jakijeva path (according to PZS map (https://mapzs.pzs.si/home/trails) it should happen at coordinates N 46.399235, E 13.883354 and altitude 1478 m), ended very miserably in impassable scree thicket. The junction is certainly not correctly drawn on the map, because according to Domen's description (https://jestov.wordpress.com/2010/06/23/pozgana-mlinarica/) it should be well marked, from it leads an easily traceable pathlet through sparse forest to scree at the start of ledges. This sparse forest, if you believe eyes with +3 diopters, is quite higher from the unlucky junction. After stubborn combing of overgrown terrain I finally manage to find a goat path, which surely isn't PP, since it drops quite deep a few times and then climbs up, but the four-legged locals have trodden it so well that even the two-legged mountaineering immigrant can manage it without trouble. Goat highway, which initially doesn't promise to bring the uphill walker to the goal, luckily ends at the lower part of scree under the ledges or wall of Požgana Mlinarica. And after thus lost hour of wandering in V Gubah the orientation roulette in the vertical labyrinth of ledges, chimneys, gullies and overhanging scree can finally start. I have to admit that on the whole path from entering the first ledge to the top I spotted three fragments of cairns and two reddish faded marks, which at least a little reassured me that I might be on the right PP. Everything suggests that not many adventurers find their way on this path. Finding the right direction rested on a mix of rich experiences, more or less reliable feelings, path tracking forensics, intensive use of navigation electronics, trials and errors, in-depth study of remnants of human activity (cut branches, rock wear, rubber sole traces, thrown trash, metabolic products etc.), multiple rereading of Domen's report, comparison of the walked path as Garmin managed to draw it in the wall with PP path on PZS map and finally also luck. And after three hours of vertical twisting, when it was never certain if the path would continue behind the next rock corner, I was rewarded at the top with heavenly sugar-coated autumn landscapes. After ridge photo session, when in all the black-beautiful one loses sense of time, in dusk follows only return along the classic hunting path to Lengarjev Rovt in Kot. Hi. Whoever did the descent from Požgana Mlinarica along PP ledges (VII stage PP) to Gube please for opinion and impressions, especially if someone went there first time with descriptions and tour preparation. Can also ZS. Thanks in advance and PP regards nasmeh

SilvsterO, yes I saw that, I assume because the author of the first post went in the direction of the title. Since I didn't get another topic of the described on hribi.net I wrote here. PP7 is correct as you wrote. But I'm interested only in the part of the 7th stage where you descend from PM along ledges to Gube. Best regards and thanks in advance

Today was the right day for the planned tour. Here for the first time. I did it in the counter direction of the topic author, but correct partial direction of PP authors. Still in the dark I start from Kot where there's already a crowd. I hit Biščkov spring and quickly climb to Požar. Crossing to RM, continuation to PM. The path didn't seem overly scree-covered as I read. Break in the pleasant morning sun. Descent into the gully on the right side and hit first PP mark. Crossing along the faint path, of course some predecessor too early descent and searching for the continuation. But I found it soon. Along ledges past the cave and entry in the logbook. It's in good condition. Across scree to Jakijeva path and descent to Kot along the overcrowded path. Just to mention I didn't use navigation since that's the charm of pathless terrain and PP. All preparation I did analogously: books, map, ruler, sketches. Such tours you don't forget. Grateful for everything nasmeh
