Limbarska gora & St. Nicholas (circular cycling tour from Domžale)

This cycling trip can be started from various places in the valleys, most appropriately from Dol pri Lj or from Domžale, or even from LJ. You cover two beautiful valleys and two very scenic ridges at the start of the Zasavje hills. For the first part of the route to Moravče and Limbarska gora, a trekking or road bike is more suitable, for the second to St. Nicholas and especially for the described continuation towards Dolsko, a mountain bike,… but each hill alone will provide the average cyclist with quite some recreation.

Sometimes acquaintances ask for more detailed descriptions and orientation at poorly marked intersections, … but it's like this, with cycling there are roads, intersections, km lengths and speeds much more than on footpaths, unfortunately they can't all be documented, … if someone gets a bit lost, you just have to take it in good spirits and accept it when getting to know nature and society – that's kind of how we used to learn in school about our regions and people.
