Hello, could someone tell me where I could find enough cranberries to pick at least one glass and when they are approximately ripe? I know they grow on Pohorje, but that's a bit too far for me. I'm also interested where the little flower called small-flowered willowherb can be found?

Regarding small-flowered willowherb, be careful, there are several types of willowherbs, even I myself am not sure which one it is that you presumably need. Best to buy it in a pharmacy or at Ljubljana market. In mountains a different species grows ...]]>

Can you just tell me where to buy cranberries? And are they on sale now? Because I haven't seen them anywhere yet.

They are not ripe yet and consequently not yet on sale. I picked a glassful myself on the slopes of Raduha.

yesterday they were selling them at a stall in front of the former department store in Domžale. Where they were picked, I don't know.

When I was a child, I picked them on Peca and Smrekovec, now I sometimes find them while mushroom picking on Pokljuka, of course I consume them on the spot right away, because there are few. Otherwise I regularly buy them canned in jars, unprocessed and equally effective. Good ones from Naturete Kamnik and also Austrian "darbo", which I buy in Klagenfurt, Merkur store. Of course, own picking in nature has added value - movement and fresh air.
