Lipanski vrh, Mrežce and Brda

Yesterday we set off from the Krma valley to Lipanski vrh. During the ascent on the steep path, the pleasant shade cooled us all the way to the ridge. This part of the path is secured in a few places but without major dangers (caution needed especially on descent).
On the ridge the warm sun shone, which allowed us a pleasant rest on the top of Mrežce.
The path Lipanski vrh - Mrežce is connected by a short easy secured path.
We descended along the ridge to the top of Brda (2008m), which was the highest point of the trip, then descended to Klek pasture where there were lots of cows and further on the gravel road to Radovna valley. Best, Esther and Tadej.

Today just a shorter trip. From Lipance to Mrežce and Lipanski vrh. Larches are nicely colored, those who want to photograph them should hurry, as the highest ones are already shedding.

Yesterday via planina Zajavornik (Javornik), where they have nicely groomed cross-country tracks to Blejska koča and on to Mrežce. The path is quite icy, so small crampons were welcome on the return. Many visitors, weather as ordered, sunny without a cloud, bit of breeze. Temperatures wintery, started at -12C, later warmed a bit, nice in the sun...nasmeh

Already during the weekend I knew that with nice weather on Tuesday I wouldn't be home, I'd go somewhere of coursemežikanje. The initial plan was Porezen, which I thought to do on Sunday, but health didn't allowmrk pogled. Then my hiking buddy suggested we go to Mrežceeek. OK, it'll be fine (I'm a bit worried how I'll manage in snowy conditions), since I've never been there, and these parts aren't familiar to me at all, except Viševik. And we went. At the start about three degrees below zero, at Lipanci much warmernasmeh. Here we stop briefly, then briskly onwards. Since I stepped a bit off the trodden path, it collapsed a few timeseekzadrega. Now I finally know the feeling when you're suddenly almost half a meter in the snow. The last part is top, as the snow is squeaky and holds all the weightvelik nasmehnasmeh. Nice views open up, which of course don't leave you indifferent. Soon we were at the top, where pleasant warm sun awaited with a puff of wind. Crazy nicenasmehnasmeh. Looking at surrounding hills takes your breath away. Smile of course from ear to ear, since I can't believe I'm at this altitude in Januaryvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh. For me it was the first time in winter conditions. At the top lounging, chatting and enjoymentvelik nasmeh. After about two hours, which in good company pass quickly, we go down, of course with crampons on our feet. After a good hour we're at the start, where -3°C again. For the end, earned beer at Pokljukanasmeh.
In short, I had a good time, for which I heartily thank the initiator. At the same time I hope we do some similar trip together. Andrej, thanks again.

On Saturday after a long time back to Pokljuka. Superficial following of roadside signs from the main junction rewarded us with some extra km of muddy and potholed tracks and detours before we finally got the desired start - Medvedovo konto. Parking before the barrier was quite churned up due to timber extraction, so most parked cars a bit lower. The path led us first, of course, to idyllic Lipance, then for a while towards Debela peč to the junction for Brda. Pleasant, easy, unambiguously marked path all the way. Morning nice views from the hut were increasingly spoiled by high cloudiness, especially around Triglav and Rjavina, opposite Bohinj mountains slightly misty-coloured, the rest beautiful, far-reaching. On Brda surprisingly little visitors although very nice and offering great views, so Debela peč was all the more pilgrimage-crowded. From Brda descended back to the saddle, peeked at the trail descending to Krma, then ascent through scrub, over rocks, scree and debris with some scrambling at wire ropes to Lipanski vrh and then to Mrežce. Wonderful tour rounded off back at Blejska koča, where on warm sunny rays it was already hard to get a seat on the benches, so many hikers gathered in the late afternoon. On return to the car noticed quite a few berry pickers of delicious blueberries (plenty left) with containers, also those with mushroom baskets not missing. Season at its peak. LPnasmeh

Yesterday morning I spent a wonderful and warm autumn day on Pokljuka. The real opposite to today's cooling and frost. Car parked at the parking lot behind Zajavornik pasture. Larches already golden and slowly starting to stand out.
First to Mrežce, then over the notch to Lipanski vrh. First time crossed or climbed the notch, well secured and very scenic at many places. Lipanski vrh as already known wonderful viewpoint. Triglav in the palm of the hand, also numerous other peaks. Krma dizzyingly far below, considerable part already in shade. Circular descent to Lipanca where we ate tasty lunch. On return to starting point met huge number of people, previously only a few. nasmeh

For descent from Lipanski vrh towards L. gates or ascent from there, recommend crampons. From Kredarica towards Brda also, because there too trampled icy snow.
