Longitudinal traverse of the Golaki mountain range!

Hello! Back on the trail, specifically from Anina hut in Trnovski forest, where I also park the car, towards east along the Golak ridge. First I struggled a bit searching for the path that should lead me to the ridge. Well, I went straight up the pathless slope. High up I finally hit the right trail, on which I continue ascending until I get below the "no name" summit. There I turn northeast and continue following the narrow trail that winds along the ridge. In the distance I already see Mali Golak. Now it's an orientation point and no worry of getting lost. Soon I hit the first hiking markers that bring me to Mali Golak. Then to Srednji and Veliki. Then from Veliki south on the marked path. Lower I step off the ridge and I'm on Barojevičeva road. Then not far to Strgarje and to Anina hut where I parked the car. One more tip. From Anina hut left of the road the trail is unmarked so I advise against ascent through the forest; it's quite demanding anyway. That's it and LP Swiss and good luck in the mountains!

Hello! Also posted GPS tracks of the hiked paths. Now adding that I was also on Smrekov vrh, the first larger peak from Anina koča towards east. P.S. Sorry for some grammatical errors. Better read twice then post hihihihi. LP Swiss and good luck in the mountains!

Even in home mountains there's no shortage of novelties, right? Congratulations for exploring.

Hi! Yes Miri there are still many challenges in nearby mountains especially in Trnovski forest. But it's also adrenaline if you're aware you might run into a bear. There are some areas with warning signs alerting to presence. I always carry spray against them. Hope I won't need to use it! LP Swiss!
