Today we chose the Lučka Bela valley as starting point for hiking in the beautiful part of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. We parked approx. 4 km from the start of the valley at the sign for the natural monument "Lonec". When returning to the car, a dog ran towards us, similar to a German shepherd but with longer fur and darker. It had no collar but was very friendly and sociable. From other hikers at the parking lot, we learned that it had already followed one from Ojstrica?! When that hiker drove off, the dog ran after the car for a while, then confused returned again. Obviously lost and didn't know who to go to or where. Hard to leave it there but we didn't know how to help. I sincerely hope the owner finds it as soon as possible!
