No. That's Garmont. Anyway, I don't know about the soles. Did it delaminate or did the rubber literally disintegrate? Glue holds up roughly to 65 degrees Celsius, then it melts. Maybe you left them in the car in the summer and it was in the sun. Over time it heated to a certain temperature, accelerating the shoe breakdown. I don't know, just guessing. On the other hand, six years for today's shoes is already quite a period, regardless of use.

For the Asolo low shoe, I can confirm it's of poorer quality. For comparison, I took my previous Scarpa shoe, which lasted incomparably longer (despite merciless use). The sole on the Asolo shoe didn't disintegrate but quickly "wore thin"; the upper part of the shoe "flattened out".

The shoe didn't just delaminate but really disintegrated and six years doesn't seem long to me, especially since I used them little. I "spared" them and mostly walked in older ones. Possible they were in car in sun sometime, that's true. Didn't know glues are so thermally unstable. Will watch out now. But something very similar happened two years ago with completely new shoes on first trip. Took them back to shop and after long time got others. Also different model, worse, but didn't want to argue. But same happened with these on first trip and then I demanded money back in shop. Wasn't easy, only with Consumer Association intervention I got it.

Yes, these are quite delicate matters; namely at purchase the seller should warn about possible issues with improper maintenance - or consequences. I don't want and certainly can't favour one brand and vehemently claim it's better than another, because as we see in examples even with more prestigious brands there is faster wear than usual or even hidden defects - I know cases of such defects, as well as quite faster wear than usual also at Scarpa as at top models of La Sportiva or Meindl.

Have you ever heard of the Spanish Bestard? You get them in Koper and Ilirska Bistrica in Avantura Šport shops and if I'm not mistaken also in Annapurna in LJ. I mean the model Adaptor, made in Spain and seems very high-quality. This model is as you mentioned, low at the heel and narrow.
