It's been a long time since I was up on the Škofja Loka viewpoint with a bike, where there's no sin.
I start from home to warm up a bit before the climbs, past Breznice, the saddle in Podlubnik, some on the forest road and a bit on the rocky path to the top on foot.
Lubnik is a less visited peak than Jošt, but an exceptional viewpoint that at this altitude in the shade cools a bit despite the heat. I drink Radler, soak in the views, then on the northern singletrack via Tomaž above Praprotno to Selška Valley, at the end 72km/heek. From there Škofja Loka is already quite close. The end of the tour was spiced by headwind with riding to 20km/h, prev.64km, cheers! nasmeh

a settlement under Lubnik, 11 high-rises and several hundred houses.

I can hardly believe that no one has posted about Lubnik for almost three years. Today we retirees from PD Škofja Loka - Četrkovci section went up. We started right from the barracks, where we always gather for tours. Then we set off on the path and in two and a half hours reached Lubnik. Today the path on slippery endless stones was quite unpleasant. Well, at the hut a good hot snack and warm pork scratchings schnapps were waiting for us. Back to Škofja Loka we went a bit differently and thus avoided that unpleasant wet stones. We had a good time. We even found some chanterelles.
