Kamnik Urban Adventure will happen this year at the peak of summer. Saturday in mid-August will serve up everything an adventure race has to offer in Kamnik, and the events in Kamnik will be spiced up by the afternoon MTB sprint GT eliminator race and then the evening program at Kamfest.
Kamnik Urban Adventure is an adventure race for pairs regardless of gender. We have two categories, Mammoth and Veronika. Total course length for Mammoth is 40 km, for Veronika 80 km and includes the following sports disciplines: MTB bike, running, hiking, paddling, swimming, rollerblading (or scooter), micro-orienteering, surprise disciplines. Lengths are approximate, as path choice depends on each competing pair. Course is NOT marked, not taped off and not the only possible one. Important is only that the pair visits all (or as many as possible) checkpoints in the correct order. Checkpoints are marked on the map you get before the start. The map also marks the sports discipline to the next point.
Start will be mass start for each category separately, so spectators at the finish know exactly who is first! Gathering in Kamnik at ŠCRM (like last year).
Entry fee for team (two competitors) upon registration until 6 August is 76 EUR for Mammoth category and 90 EUR for Veronika category. Entry fee includes start bag, boat rental, paddles and life jackets, commemorative t-shirt, food and drink after the race, maps and insurance. ŠKK members pay 40 EUR per team.
