Today's tour starts in the village of Avasinis near Gemona (Humin). We drive to the nearby village of Alesso, where an asphalt road turns steeply uphill to the left. We follow it for approximately 3.5 km then turn onto a gravel path, which branches off to the left. The path is in very good condition. We go past two small pastures (huts) Amula and Cuvii. In between there are some junctions so a map is recommended (Tabacco 020). After good 20 km we cycle to pasture Cuar (1219 m). Path from valley to pasture ascends almost continuously, in between one longer descent approximately 150 m, before we reach pasture Amula. Accumulated over 1200 m. From hut then follows smaller ascent 50 m, then follows good 20 km nice forest gravel descent to valley with quite some intermediate junctions.
