Our starting point was in Vrbnik, where parking is free at this time and there are no issues with space. Up the road by which we arrived (the shortcut is a concrete "sidewalk" that shortens all the bends), we climbed above the town and at the Katunar winery joined the marked trail. The path to the top is marked, with signposts at junctions, so you can't get lost (shouldn't), as we did. And not once. On easier paths this happens to me quite often, since I sometimes take them too "easy". After the second getting lost, which was much longer than the first (both visible on the attached "track"), I pulled myself together and then we did the outing properly. At the top sheep greeted us and we them; on the descent some of them who were working in the vineyard. Paths up and down are not difficult, some sharp rocks and thorns on the summit slope, so caution is not superfluous. At the start mud and a large amount of water (deep puddles) tricked us a bit, which is extraordinary here and probably won't repeat soon. At least not to that extent. From the top nice views of the mainland, on the open sea and neighboring islands less than, say, from Obzova or Veliki Hlam... Very pleasant outing, so we'll definitely return here soon nasmeh

On Sunday group tour with friendly societies on Krk, to Mali Hlam, starting point Žanac, then to Misučajna. The path is marked, we started the tour along the road towards Baška. We looked a bit at Vrbnik, then Punat. From Punat we walked along the coast to FKK Konoba and back. Walk through the camp is not possible, it is closed. Wandering around Krk is always super, especially in nice weather.
On Thursday we walked the Paradise Path from Malinska to Njivice, wonderful colors, bays. Part of the path is also possible to cycle, partly the Camino Krk runs here.
On Friday we walked paths around Opatija, plenty of them. On Saturday Kastav, several easy shorter and longer paths marked. This time the longer one, deer path and also to Mačkov vrh, which reminds me of Medvižica.... Weather past days was great.
