I started the short hike at the 2nd hairpin bend of the Vršič road towards Škrbinjek. Somewhere in the middle of the path I turned left onto a nicely visible trail and climbed in zigzags through steep forest. Then I left the trail, steeply ascended the forest slope and reached almost the top of the wooded Mali Kumleh. From there I descended towards the scree and continued almost to the rockfall under Veliki Kumleh, where I turned around and descended to the forest under Mali Kumleh, descending through forest and scree all the way to the trail that brought me back to the starting point.
