The forest road from Korensko sedlo to Železnice is again passable and newly arranged. Our starting point is Železica, past the hunting hut, to the saddle between Trupejevo poldne and Lepi vrh. The path continues towards Murnavec, then one path branches left to Maloško poldne. The path ascends and is dangerous for slipping. Fortunately there are many dwarf pines to help with the 20m ascent. Then the path is grassy all the way to Maloški poldne. To Ostra peč we descend a few meters to the Austrian side, then climb the rocks and cross a few notches equipped with cables for safe descent to Ostra peč. The path was varied and my daughter(8) was very enthusiastic

In the morning the weather held, even some sunny licks were there, then it slowly soured and in the afternoon it started to drizzle properly autumn-like. Pity for the views, but they had already been there and will be again. This part is by far the nicest viewpoint on the Špik group, which today quickly wrapped itself in wet fogs and went to rest far from eyes in its own world. First at Srednji vrh immediately to the right, onto the road forbidden for traffic, which is otherwise nicely repaired all the way to the hunting hut. At the hunting hut uphill towards planina Grajšci, where marmots chase around it in summer. Today it was firmly under the snow cover, which held nicely. The snow gave way only a few cm, so it was nice to walk, no need for technical equipment. Then up the valley and on the ridge in the direction of Trupejevo poldne. Beyond the ridge there were no tracks anymore. A bit on our own, at the first saddle instead of towards Trupej we turned uphill to Ostri vrh. Along its ridge we then returned back and also stepped onto Maloško poldne, then along the eastern ridge along the border path we returned to Grajščica and to the car. Larches are here and there still golden golden, but not for long. It was for satisfying mountain abstinence.

After ascent to Trupejevo poldne my friend and I continued the trail and climbed also to Maloško poldne. On paths few cm snow, but already at planina Grajške the meadows are green. p.s.: Unfortunately couldn't attach photos to message.

Finally fulfilled wish Maloško poldne. From Srednji vrh past the hunting hut, up the left path past Hladnik stream. The path is unmarked, so super excellent guidance and memory of our little mountain flower. Towards the summit wonderful larches, blue sky, shady side snowy. On the ridge we turn right towards Maloški poldne, left would go towards Trupejevo poldne. Last ascent to the top, wonderful views to Austrian side Dobratsch, Villach, Ossiach Lake, and our Martuljek group, Špik... We descend to Ostra peč (1.802 m), no regrets. Along the ridge we continued to Kresčišče. Views really fantastic, lounger too. We saw from Kepa to Triglav, and Šmarna gora and Rašice. Along the ridge we would need to continue and after about three ascents turn right towards Grajščica, but we returned to the top of Kresčišče, descent through grass, some action among the bushes and we were already at Grajščica. Descent to the hunting hut and Srednji vrh. Wonderful day and tour in beautiful weather in the kingdom of larches. Coffee and snowballs in Triangel, nice atmosphere. Whole path 1,100m elevation, 20 km.
