Mangart crossing and Bovec escapades

Exploring Mangart with its surroundings and the wonderful nature of the Julian Alps from both the Italian and Slovenian sides has led to some interesting parallels as well as significant differences: firm butts and friendly hunters on the Italian side and embittered tourism workers and TNP supervisors on the Slovenian side of Mangart... velik nasmehzmeden

Very content-rich and visually interesting photo story. "Playing around" with the camera paid off richly in very nice photos, but these two excited me the most - when Luka jumps for joy.. and Sunset on the saddle under Mangart with the bride... Excellent, Anže!!nasmehmežikanje

Another arrogant puffed-up type who thinks he can butt into everything! Watch out next time the Indian woman won't throw a knife in your back!

Mr. Anže, why are you making fun of the commentators?
People just write what they feel - and if they feel that you are a visitor who, instead of ENJOYING the beauties of nature, rather enjoys criticizing all the people who come before your eyes.
I would rather ask myself what's wrong with me???, if I found so much negative in every trip. One time a couple bothers you, another time people who don't get off the path fast enough for you and don't greet you with a smile that reveals a tooth up to the seventh; furthermore, you don't understand the basic elementary school message and have to tease the cook, not to mention the rude guard sic ..... . Even I - and probably most mountaineers - get annoyed by something, but because of that we don't spit far and wide.
I really like your trip reports, not to mention the wonderful photos, but with your characteristic "grumbling" you spoil the whole impression. Try to see fellow humans in other people and don't consider yourself a superior race because you master cycling, alpinism, and photography - others master something else.
PS
When I was once super fed up, my neighbor's dad gave me this advice: Boy, find yourself a girl; you'll see that, honestly, shit, the world is prettier. I'm not a dad yet, but I allow myself to say: Mr. Anže, try the above advice.

@rajko0028, nobody is making fun of commentators; rather, it's the other way around. Of course it's welcome that comments refer to the content and about the content; the level that referred to the first comments simply doesn't hit the content.

There's a lot wrong with me, just like with everyone. But writing things I like and things I don't is not one of those that would be wrong. jezik

In the report, if you read it to the end, both what we didn't find the best and at the same time how very nice it was and that we had a great time are covered equally. In addition, the conclusion is written in a very conciliatory positive tone, so I think more about why some see only bad in everything and not the good? eek

For me, the trip, the impression of the places and people where we were, remained in nice memory, as I also wrote; commentators, however, don't refer to the content written but to the writer, that's why my comment on commenting culture. Fortunately, comments under the original post are different and others have similar experiences too...

Interview 6.8.2016 on Siol net with Anže Čokl:

"The biggest danger are people who go to the mountains based on impulses from the environment."

I think you are among them too.

And you can write things that you like and things that you don't.

Like me and the others.

I went to check exactly why so much dust is being raised.

And I can only say, man, how demanding you are. Everywhere pure negativity. Then stay home next time so the sunshine on the tavern terrace doesn't bother you. And what do you actually think, that the whole world has to revolve around you?

Thousand and one things bother you about all others; I assume you're just as critical of yourself. Aha, yeah...
