In Škofja Loka, the forest owner surprised us; he erased all markings and threatened us with 100 euros so we can walk the path we've used for 30 or many more years. Reason! He paid 100 I don't know how much for the excavator to supposedly renovate the path for hay transport and the rest. How is it in Slovenia? It's from Veštra past Gabrovo to Lubnik.

On Lubnik, I noticed last year some fallen trees with markings. Namely, a bit further from where the paths from Breznica and Gabrovo join. But I'm really curious if they renew them then?

That's the direction if you know. Over Vešterski bridge (Selško soro) towards village three houses Gabrovo and further right to Lubnik. From junction along ridge to Gabrovo he wiped markings like model.

If it's an officially marked mountain trail from the register maintained by a certain mountaineering society, such action of the forest owner is against the law. Actually, the owner's duty is to ensure passability of the marked trail (remove all possible obstacles). Destroying official markings is anyway prohibited or punishable. Search the web for the register of Slovenian mountain trails.
