Martin's Path-Šenturška Gora -Ambrož

On such a foggy day you can't go far. With a colleague we headed under Krvavec to the village Šenturška Gora. From there along Martin's path towards Ambrož. The path is marked with arrows. It goes gently uphill along a forested ridge. The path leads us to the end of Martin's path, where a bench and a box with logbook awaits us. There's also a little schnapps. First entries were already in 2013. From there we continued to Ambrož. The path is partially marked. Back from Ambrož we went initially across a meadow along the pasture fence. From the marker at the end of Martin's path along the path to Apno. Here you really have to watch out so that various intersections of these forest paths don't mislead you. Occasionally you spot red arrows. We luckily reached the village Apno without any detours.

Thanks to the guide Marjan, this time for the first time on Šenturška gora, 667 m. We arrived from Kamnik, the access itself was magical, among snow-covered trees, perfect blue sky, while in Ljubljana all in thick fog. On the path, just as Velkavrh described it, on Martin's path towards Ambrož. Beautiful tour in snowy idyll, and views, from Škofjeloško hribovje to Triglav. Path for full enjoyment in snowy idyll, without danger. At Ambružarju stew, tea, strudel, all good. We too made a circular tour past the meadow by the pasture... some mischief in the snow and the circle was already closed. Another look towards Kamniški vrh, Velika planina and towards home. Thanks to the guide for the wonderful tour and all for the company, really magical day in good company.
