Across NE Slovenia runs a pilgrimage path over 400 km long. Yesterday I pilgrimaged a section of this path from the border crossing Zg. Leskovec to the church of St. Elizabeth in Pohorje. The path is well marked with white-yellow markings, marked with yellow directional signs, where it joins the hiking path, there are red directional signs. And also, friendliness and homeliness along the whole path. Greetings!

Today on a somewhat longer circular path in the Boč & Plešivec Landscape Park also along part of Mary's Pilgrimage Path namely the section between the pasqueflower site below 782 meters high Dreveniška gora on Boč and the summit of 822 meters high Plešivec. It is interesting that mežikanje Plešivec between Boč and Donačka gora is the highest point of the mentioned path on the entire route of Mary's Pilgrimage Path. The section between Donačka gora and Boč also somehow connects the church of Holy Mary of Loreto at Ložno and Holy Mary Mother of God at Ljubična...

We have put under the roof the last part of the 3rd stage and the unfinished 4th stage of the eastern MRP. I must say, so far one of the nicer stages, the path goes more or less through the forest in Završka municipality. Wonderful views, friendly locals. And nice greetings!

here you really need to follow the markers, the border is very close8

There are still boundary stones from the period of Maria Theresa, which still hold the demarcation.10

With friends we are preparing for a hike on the 1st stage of the western variant from Trata to Šentilj. When I read the guide to Majina path I can't find the junction for Šentilj. If someone has already walked this part, please provide information.

Thanks

Servus Minka!
Nice that you decided for MR path. What you're asking, you probably know we have several Šentiljs and this is Šentilj in Slovenske gorice. I've already walked quite a few kilometers of this path, and I must say you don't need to worry about anything, because it's very well marked with yellow-white markers. I haven't been there yet, but I tell you, you surely won't get lost. Walk well and all nice on the path! Lajči

There hasn't been an entry under this topic for a while... Yesterday afternoon to Sladka gora by bike via Lovnik and Sv. Mihael from Poljčane. Architecturally and building/craft exceptional point with rich interior at height just over 300 meters and Boč is not far. It was a short circular one, that activity. Sladka gora is still today an important point in the Slovenian scale, although decades/centuries ago its importance was even greater. Lp
Sladka gora yesterday in the evening, some western view...1
...so it's clear, this really is the path from the title topic...2
...on the descent from Sv. Mihaela...3
...eastern view somewhere...4
...northern view...5

...return home to Poljčane towards Dolge and Zbelovska gora, to make a ,,loop,.7
...view back, or rather from the west/Dolge gora direction...8
...yes, with vines and good wine these are very rich areas...9
...also pleasantly by the water, bike... Best regards10

On Monday, 06.04.2015 in holiday afternoon time to the highest point of the entire Mary's pilgrimage path. Bald Plešivec at 822 meters height, mežikanjewhere!? was found, but it is according to all official records. From Studenice reached in an hour and a half. Via Formila and Gavez. Accompanied by afternoon snow showers and on the ridge of Plešivec even more pronounced shower, probably farewell/final from winter... Also quite some sunny moments, SV wind practically nonstop. Paths wet, partially muddy, not snowy. Return identical to ascent.

On Wednesday 15.07.2015 in the evening with mountain bike to the highest point of Mary's pilgrimage path at 822 meters high Plešivec. While Ljubična is part of the mentioned path the monastic complex in Studenice with church of the three kings is not. Therefore connection with Studenice as ,,extended point,, for easy training. A bit more than one and a half hour, pleasant route and also some kilometers and elevation meters in short activity there were...
