Behind Borovlje (Ferlach) there's a mountain I can't find in any description or Slovenian search hits. Pretty interesting. Yesterday I ended up there when I turned from Bajdiš (Waidisch) onto a forest road (sometimes rough), which after a long time and some forks (map) takes you to the start (trail turns into woods). After about an hour through shady forest I reached sunny meadows by St. Anne's church, then along a slightly exposed ridge path in 15min to the top (highest point a bit ahead of the cross). Lush growth (thyme, forest clover, stinking iris), sunny day and superb viewpoint (Košuta, Ojstrc, Setiče, Grlovec, Carinthia with lakes and Klagenfurt... right to Triglav and Martuljek group). Unbelievable what's hidden an hour from Ljubljana and no one writes about it. Nice surprise! Picture as invitation. Grega

From Spodnjih Bajdiš we went along a network of forest roads to the intersection with the mountain path coming from Borovlje. Along it to St. Anne's church and further over the peaks of the ridge called Turni (there are 4). We descended to Koce saddle and along a harder-to-follow path to Bajdiše. 20 minutes of road to Spodnjih Bajdiš was somewhat unnecessary. Unfortunately the weather was not favorable for views from the otherwise scenic peaks of the ridge.
