Some of today's snapshots from the path to Mazovnik. Despite not the nicest weather, a nice walk. Starting point. (Brodarjev trg-Mazovnik-Štepanja vas-Brodarjev trg.) Nice mountaineer's greeting.

A few days ago from Rakovnik mostly along the Golovec ridge over Črni hrib and Mazovnik towards Orle. Before the village left and down then to the small ridge and continue towards Podmolnik. From there to the nice Marenček, then on partial pathless terrain from the north side to Molnik. Along the ridge and past Dolinar down (only down there I saw that the path goes through private land) and past Podmolnik roughly the same way back to Rakovnik.

Pleasant tour, warm spring weather and lots of people on Golovec. On Marenček and Molnik I met only three or four. In the hazy air the Alps were shining in the distance. Whichever they were. They'll soon be back in turn. Altogether just over six hours, about 25 km and approx. 1100m ascent and descent. And consequently a well-deserved day of rest. nasmeh

I'm adding my contribution in the form of a video (4K quality) from a cyclist's perspective. Golovec is practically a few pedal turns away from the center of Ljubljana. So suitable for daily assaults and for all types of bikes. A gravel road runs through it, crisscrossed with tons of tractor paths, logging trails, paths, so something for everyone. ŠD Golovec trails has also arranged quite a few mountain bike trails suitable for beginners as well as experienced cyclists. Everyone will find suitable ones for themselves. I tested two trails. All praise to the mentioned club. Highly recommend.
