Membership of GRS clubs and stations in PZS

While reviewing the lists of MDO PD (inter-club committees of mountaineering clubs) on the PZS websites, I saw that all listed lists also include GRS Clubs and GRS Stations, which have their own official Mountain Rescue Association of Slovenia. As far as I know, there has never been an official entry into PZS, but we know that GRS officially left PZS years ago and established its own association. Did PZS usurp these GRS clubs and stations itself and simply enter them into its lists so that PZS would look more appealing and important from the outside, or does it simply not have its lists updated!? I expect answers signed with name and surname.

On GRS website it says:

"Gorska reševalna zveza Slovenije is organized as an association of independent, voluntary, non-profit mountain rescue societies and mountaineering societies with registered mountain rescue activity (stations), which perform humanitarian tasks of public importance:..."

If you ask me, it's more like a systemic error on PZS websites.

Anyway, I'd also be interested in how it really is.

All GRS clubs and stations listed on the PZS website were accepted into membership of the Mountaineering Association of Slovenia after submitting an application for membership, which was then approved by the PZS Management Board. Some clubs joined before the establishment of GRZS, some after. All data is verifiable and PZS has never usurped these clubs.

Best regards,
Danilo Miklavž Sbrizaj, general secretary of PZS

Of course, I must first thank the GS for the explanation. Last year at MDO Posočje we discussed two applications for admission, specifically SPD Gorica from Italy was accepted into MDO Posočje on the basis of the application on 23.01.09, and on 10.3.09 DEŠ (extreme sports club), I don't know if the PZS Management Board later approved them. As far as I know, however, the general assembly of our GRS Association after the establishment of GRZS never decided on an application for PZS membership. I do know that the "old" GRS stations that operated under the umbrella of the GRS Commission at PZS before organizing their own association were PZS members with 0 (zero) members. Of course, every club can be a member of several related associations if the club's valid rules (statutes) allow it. I assume, however, that every club is primarily loyal to its own association.
