Finally we set out on this exceptionally difficult and long tour. We started at Mihov dom, the path led us to Koča na gozdu, from there to Hanzovo on Prisojnik. The snowfields on the path cannot be crossed without crampons and ice axe! We lunched at Hudičev steber, from there to the summit: the ladder before the summit is particularly interesting! From the path junction to the summit we needed approximately 2h. From Prisank we headed along Jubilejna ZPP! through the small window to the foot of Razor. We reached the summit of Razor without trouble after 1.5h of walking. From the summit of Razor we descended in record time (22 min.) to Pogačnikov dom on Kriških podih, where we refueled and rested a bit. The path led us to Križ, where we arrived in a good hour. Three summits in one day. We achieved what we came for, only the return over the wall to Krnica and Mihov dom awaited us. The wall sorely lacks protections, there is also great risk of slipping! On the last meters of the wall rain caught us so we continued completely wet towards Koča v Krnici. From the top of the wall to the hut we needed one hour. The worst was the last ascent to Mihov dom. The tour requires huge fitness, mental stability and desire for beautiful views, ZPP, success when on top... We went on such a tour with all necessary gear (ice axe, crampons, rope, harness, prusik..., in case something went wrong by chance. Lp

So what?! Don't comment on something you don't understand! Everyone climbs/walks/runs in the hills for their own reasons. If it says in Vrata to Skrlatica 5h, I don't give a fuck about what's on that sign! I can walk to the top all day, or run the path in two hours. Whatever suits me at the time. Where does it say I have to admire edelweiss, chamois, and I don't know what else, if it doesn't suit me right then? I want to say that not everyone goes to the mountains for the same motives and there's nothing wrong with that. Least of all to condemn it!
I recommend that you do a similar tour sometime (of course if you're fit enough for it), then write a comment here about how it seemed to you.

Oh... congrats to the author for the tour! It appealed to me on Saturday too, but then I decided for tourism and turned back from Mlinarica towards Vršič.

I think there's no point in arguing, right? Time is relative. For the tour we spent more than 12 hours with stops at the summits and Kriških podih. The tour was mainly intended for one to enjoy our beautiful mountains and views. We proved to ourselves that the tour can be done in one day, which many doubted. I don't need to prove anything, least of all to anyone. If any of you like such tours we can arrange and go together next time. Lp

I agree with gregcs1.
Some combine the beauties of Slovenian high mountains also with good sports achievement. And on the way we don't miss even 'a bit' of what others see.
But it's funny to me, because usually the loudest about how time is unimportant are precisely those with the least fitness who have to stop then 'to admire the mountains', in their words.
And I don't belong to those who run into mountains at all. I have my own tempo, very long step, mere 70 kg and just exploit my body predispositions. During walking I don't stop either and thus I have already quite some for my concept very solid times on two-thousanders, of which I'm proud.
Actually I suffer much more if I walk to Triglav or anywhere for various 6 hours than if I halve that time.
Otherwise I go to mountains to enjoy, by no means to set records.

All you who rush through hills and see nothing but the watch, take a camera and snap some nice pics, so others have something from it too!

Most likely I take more photos than anyone else with a camera. Anyway photos are coming, I haven't managed to do everything yet. Anyway this post was meant so you know the conditions on the path, if this f***** clock bothers you so much I won't write next time. Long step, high frequency doesn't mean it's rushing. I think it's good if someone writes their walking time too. So you can a bit from others' experiences know approximate walking time and plan yourself, and compare times. Why not. Of course there are various mountain guides you can buy everywhere, but often another's experience means a lot too. Why do some immediately attack (verbally, of course) someone who good-naturedly wrote their walking time? Geolog79, I can only congratulate you for doing this path!!!Good luck to all!

No matter how you take it, time is always important, nice when you don't have to look at watch, nothing rushes you, but to return on time and night doesn't catch you it's enough to follow sun's path too. Anyway I once went from Mihov dom along Hanzova to Prisojnik, then along Jubilejna to Mlinarica, climbed to saddle between Razor and Planja, then to Kriške pode and Pihavec summit, from there down to Luknja and over Plemenice to Triglav, and descended to Kredarica and that in 9.5 hours. And how much I saw on that path is not to tell.

You mean Ponca-Vevnica-Jalovec-Mojstrovke?
That I can still imagine somehow. To do from Vevnica still path past bivouac over MKM to Mangart, and back the same, seems to me a bit too much. Ridge from Šit to Mojstrovke drags on
