Monte Jama is an excellent goal when there's no will for something more concrete. That happens too nasmeh. We combined its visit with loop trail 644 / 620 starting and ending in Kluže. The whole loop is passable without issues. There is some fallen timber, but all nicely cut and removed. We were a bit surprised only by the lack of snow even on much higher peaks, as around Trbiž and Tablja it's still all white. Obviously the proximity of the lowlands is noticeable also in the form of precipitation in the mountains around here.
2021.11.11 Parking in the village Chiusaforte1
Photo on the facade of a nearby house about the construction of the bridge over the river Belo2
We also cross Belo, only on a much newer bridge.3
On the opposite bank in Raccolana we search for the first markers of path 6444
View of the nearby motorway. The noise from it is heard for a long, long time...5
We walk on a well-preserved military mule trail.6
The path is well maintained and cleared of fallen trees.7
The grass is running out of time and most have already fallen over.8
Provision is also made for the tired…9
In the distance, M. Amariana is already basking in the sun.10
One of the numerous path markers.11
The walking is pleasant, nowhere too steep.12
We are already on M. Jama. To the viewpoint it's a few hundred meters further.13
Here a handy shelter has stood for 19 years, intended primarily for socializing.14
Stove with a thousand and one rings for cooking polenta.15
There are also two full pantries nearby, as well as water.16
View towards Tolmezzo. Pisimoni is to the right.17
We continue towards the former military settlement Patoc, still on 644.18
The passage over the narrow part is renewed, the old footbridge has served its purpose.19
Here everything is full of metal signs, which the trees will soon overgrow.20
The path is completely covered with leaves in many places, so caution is not superfluous.21
The lower part of Patoc, which is slowly transforming into a weekend settlement.22
Here we turn right for the return along the Patoc stream valley.23
Novelty at the nearby village cemetery.24
We return along 620.25
Here too we walk on a gentle and wide mule track.26
View back27
The fence comes in handy. This section is well-visited, and below there is a good 50 m drop.28
View of the valley where roads, railway and river are squeezed.29
We are already almost at the trailhead.30
GPS track of the hiked path. It recorded 11 km and 850 m elevation gain.31

Beautiful day, despite the gale-force wind. Ascent from Reklanica, descent around through Patoc. Snow on the summit part soft, went without trouble without crampons, descent to Patoc, some two hundred meters of elevation, with them though, slopes quite exposed, snow hard and icy. Village fairy-tale as usual, surrounding mountains no less. Nice nasmeh

Puzzle or jigsaw. Bunch of pieces of various shapes, which only at the end, when you put the last piece in the right place, show the whole picture. The whole. Life is also a kind of puzzle, some pieces fit in place like dad on mom, for some you search for their place a long time before you find it. And if with the puzzle the last piece is the picture complete, it can be that in life the last piece in the right place means the end. End, ende, the end, fine. You breathe in, breathe out, darkness, with the last piece you've fulfilled life. Anyway, today I stuck another piece into my puzzle, another memory, who knows how big the picture actually is, that is, how many pieces it's still missing to the whole or the end.

Up path 644 out, some snow on the summit slope that doesn't hinder walking. During ascent fog and low clouds, same on top, no cold. Consequently sitting in the hut below the summit much shorter than usual. Descent to the junction below the summit along the same path, from there to the other side, to Potok. There the path quite snowy, track hard and icy, crampons maybe not superfluous, I managed without. Comfortable and safe. Walk through Potok full of pleasures, solitude and peace in abundance. Before returning to the valley, I lingered at the cemetery, beautiful place for eternal rest. To the valley enjoyed silence, babbling of the stream and blooming of snowdrops, winter aconites and bellflowers. Wonderful day, deeply experienced, unforgettable nasmeh

The little one, judging by what I've read, most people do in a circular version on paths 644 and 620, but it didn't give me peace, how from 'barn' to 'barn'.
Ascent I do on 644 to the saddle and from there to the top. From it slightly down to the 'picnic place'. Benches around the fireplace were still in shade, so I step across the meadow to a rock that has better views than any throne. After a short lounging, I'm tempted to continue slightly right towards the birches and into the forest, but since I had to return early so my stomach wouldn't rumble in the evening mežikanje , the entrance to the forest at the picnic kitchen tempted me. It was so without undergrowth and calm that I make a big detour before returning near the birch through the forest and from there past the first ruins. I continue a bit left, a bit right, mainly down to the former Jama barn (also written St.lo Iamma). The world slowly thickens and soon I'm walking through grass reaching above knees, in places even to the head. When I slide through wet forest to the Sulforchiet barn (also written St.lo sul Forchiet), I stop surprised, as it seems, except for a large fallen branch on its roof, like it's still in use. From the top to here no path, not even remnants, from here though you spot it in tall grass, but also easily lose it. The number of ticks in the last part of descent unpleasantly large. To the valley still some way, but when I arrive there, I join path 620, by which I return to the start.

The little one among crazy mountains comes up again and again exploratory.
