From Mus pass we didn't go further, but actually went down towards Val di Guera valley to around 1800 m altitude, then back up to Forcella Pramaggiore. Nice path, beautiful valley, unique views of Antelao, Monte Pelmo, Civetta, Monfalcone and hundreds of other mountains. Far below you can glimpse the magical Cimoliana valley, a bit behind Val Settimana, too much for one day and too much to list. From the notch we were on the summit in less than half an hour, views even more luxurious, must see. From the summit we descended to Pramaggiore notch, and a bit lower to Forc. La Sidon, and descended into the steep gully secured with cable and chains in the head of Val di Suola valley. From there we followed the nice trail to Flaiban Pacherini hut, where we quenched our thirst a bit, then back to the valley and home. If not before, we'll return in winter for ski touring, since we've skied there already and it was nice.

For escape from today's heat Monte Pramagiore was probably at least 1000m too low, as humidity from yesterday's storm and sun did their thing, so it was quite sweltering high. We started in Andraz past Pacherini hut over Suola pass turned right to Sidon saddle. In gully below saddle "slightly" problematic the very entry to secured part as everything is collapsing somewhere and flying down (helmet mandatory!!), and old rope as aid over polished rock step doesn't inspire much confidence. Other parts of path without issues, same return path over Ru Alta saddle. Views from top limited to Friulian Dolomites, but they alone more than sufficiently interesting. Nice area; further exploration planned..

It wasn't as warm as 6 years ago on Sunday, on the path only the conditions in the broken gully leading to Sidon notch have changed, as they secured it nicely. Otherwise we enjoyed the autumn colors with views of the mountains surrounding Suola valley. On the summit the views extended in all directions from the main Dolomite peaks to the High Tauern, even our hills were visible to the right of Montaž. We descended via Rua Alta saddle and just before Suola saddle turned right into Rovadia valley. On the scree in the bottom of the valley we turned left and after 2 km we were at the morning starting point at the power plant under Andrazz nasmeh
