With my father we chose the ascent to Dom pod Storžičem for this Sunday. At first the weather was still very nice, but it quickly started clouding over. The trail is quite slippery due to the rain.

Interesting how much can be done to boost the hut's popularity a bit. I was there only 2 hours and the caretaker that day said everything was ok. Cleaned in the morning.. then the gentleman who climbs towers like our Aljažev tower spits well on the fireplace. Turbo, you always look at me, are you archiving my pictures? Regarding that, the gentleman responsible will have to apologize deeply, as no trash of ours was left there. I don't know why I'd be obliged to discuss this here at all. Shame of the climber on the monument. Some things might not be true.

Oh, pikica1, it's a saying. And don't take everything so literally. Sure, when someone casually says: "He really acts like some farmer!", we don't mean an actual farmer who farms, but a farmer who does his big business in the corridor. Of course now some "social justice warrior" will jump in, how it's offensive to farmers, etc...but that's another question. Anyway, if it's a farmer it's a farmer, even if from the 10th floor in the city center for all I care. So, now I'll go do the morning milking in the barn...

The road is not closed, that sign is probably still there due to subsidence. You can drive to the hut under Storžič.
