When I went to check past threads (to avoid repetition) I was quite surprised that there has never been talk about mountain orienteering.
Well, I'll start (although for starters one "ad" nasmeh

Invited this Saturday to the first race (after a veeery long time) in the Primorska Orienteering League, which will be in Podgorje.

Although the race counts for Primorska League, all warmly invited. No entry fee.

p.s. yes the post is a bit late, as registrations needed by tomorrow, but better late than never.

At the beginning of October, the Balkan Championship in mountain orienteering (BMUMOC 2022) took place on Pokljuka.
31 teams from 6 countries participated, the competition takes place in 4 categories (children's, youth, adult and veterans).
Pokljuka is already quite "interesting" orienteering terrain by itself, but there were additional surprises for competitors. The most trouble was caused by the (otherwise short and fairly easy) night race. Well, night has its power, and the weather (rain) added its own.
