Multi-day tour Prehodavci, Triglav Lakes

Hello,
next week we plan for the first time to go to the mountains for several days and we've come up with this route:
Zadnjica - Prehodavci (sleep) - Triglav Lakes - Planina pri jezeru (sleep) - Pod Kopico - Prehodavci (sleep) - Zadnjica. Kids are 8-12 years old, this year we went to the mountains say to the lake in Lužnica, last year to Krn, both from planina Kuhinja. We stick to easy paths, my husband and I don't have enough experience to dare look after 3 kids. Interested in your opinion on the tour, especially I have doubts about the second day, if after the first tiring day (1400m elevation gain) we shouldn't take it slower, enjoy a bit more and go only to Triglav Lakes. Also the path to Kopica interests me - how are the snow patches currently? Grateful for any opinion and advice.

This pace is very slow so no problem for second day, when there's just one half-hour ascent. I think no snow patches left...

When I return over the Seven Lakes past Planina pri Jezeru and I'm already a bit tired, because I always go up and down in one day, then between the Hut at Seven Lakes and Planina Ovčarija -> Planina pri Jezeru, I prefer the slightly longer path over Prodi, which has only one small uphill bit, rather than crawling up over Štapce. If you choose this path, I see no problem in making it to Planina pri Jezeru.

For anything else I wouldn't know.

10 days ago there were still small snow patches in the valley behind Kopica, but they could already be crossed without issues and without winter gear (knee-deep). Now there shouldn't be any problems - probably no snow patches left.

Those snow patches behind Kopica are (if any) just fun for you, otherwise ask at the hut. Actually the sections are short and not strenuous, so boldly on the way. Only I'd suggest maybe a change and return not via Zadnjica but to Trebiški dol. Group waits, driver takes 20min by road to the carmežikanje

This route at that pace isn't as strenuous as it might seem. I believe you'll enjoy it.. velik nasmeh

Thanks everyone for replies. We've decided to stick to the planned tour, with return via Trebiški dol as suggested by mirank. Can't wait!

I'd suggest both ways via Trebiški dol. Zadnjica valley is wonderful, but soon when the ascent starts it's just sand, or scree all the way to the junction with the Trenta variant. Paths are equally long time-wise, but incomparably nicer the one from Trenta. No offense that's how I see it, so no unnecessary debate.

We did it; from Zadnjica to Prehodavci, slept, along Triglav Lakes valley over Prodi to the hut at Planina pri Jezeru (slept), back over Dedno polje and valley under Kopica, over Vrata to Prehodavci. Fourth day over Trebiški dol to Trenta.
Pace for kids super. We needed about 50% more time than marked.
Second day we wanted to go past Črno jezero too, but there were showers and we didn't dare.
Nice difference between the two huts, first location panoramic, second "in a hole".
Most annoying part of the path between Dedno polje and Planina pri Jezeru.
If I'd known what the path between saddle Vrata and junction with path to Hribarice is like, we wouldn't have gone there, although the path between Dedno polje and Vrata was the nicest. For my taste that part is too exposed. On top a thunderstorm was chasing us and we hurried.
Comparison Trebiški dol - Zadnjica is tough; to me maybe nicer via Trebiški dol, except parts walking in the torrent bed that tires legs, husband says he'd never go via Trebiški dol again.
All enthusiastic about the staff at Zasavska koča, kids of course about chamois and marmots.
Recommend the tour, descent from Vrata only for brave and especially experienced little mountaineers.

Yesterday I returned via Trebiški dol and this path is really close to my heart. Up top views of high mountains around, then transition to green larch valley. On the other side of the torrent three chamois accompanied me. There are some ragged path parts, but much more soft, covered with leaves. Only the gravel road was superfluous, that just wouldn't end.
