Nice and demanding. Zelenjak, Palec and Pod-a, we've already covered that. For further on we're still "too green"?
That day I was not that far: Španov vrh - Vel. vrh v Struški - Savske jame - Pl. pod Golico. Warm, windy, great views - lots of flowers and at the end - clear head no psychiatrist.

On Saturday (27 June) we finally went to the ridge we've stared at countless times when climbing gullies under Begunjščica in winter. We started from the parking before the tunnel and decided to do the whole ridge, so first to Koča pod Ljubeljem and Polna Peč then nice path to Vrh Ljubeljščica. Then the climbing fun part of the ridge - Na Možeh, nice ridge, pure pleasure. Then less fun through bushes to unknown peak before Palec. After Palec we were briefly on both Zelenjak peaks and checked that SW ridge of Vrtača. It looks tough from Zelenjak. Unroped we climbed the first gully, ramp and chimney then roped up and stayed roped till upper ridge. From Vrtača descended usual path via Laško to Dom Zelenica. Wonderful tour ... finally to this area in summer nasmeh

Something like that should definitely be repeated nasmeh

The start was at the parking lot at 6 o'clock.

We progressed quickly on the macadam and reached Koča na Ljubelju in half an hour.

A beautiful moment on the ridge towards Zelenica.

Part of the path from Polna Peč to Vrh Ljubeljščice has some pegs and cables too

From the summit of Ljubeljščica we get a good view of the first tower of the Na Možeh ridge. Someone headed left from the first tower through the scree but returned after a short time.

Nice surprising peak on the Austrian side (didn't find the name)

From the top of the first tower descend through the chimney to the right below the summit... nice passage :)

We quickly descended from Palec and were briefly on top of Zelenjak

From the top of Zelenjak we viewed the ridge of Vrtača and drew the line :)

Pleasant descent from Vrtača and beautiful Begunjščica

A little before the hut at Zelenica... we can hardly wait for cold Laško :)

After 11 and a half hours we reach the car and tell ourselves how beautiful the ridge is and that it must be repeated once more. Unforgettable day :)

We climb to the ridge towards Palec behind 3 Može. Since we didn't have suitable gear with us, this seemed a good solution to me. mežikanje

Continuation all the way to Palec on nicely cleared path, descent to saddle and to Zelenjak. Then traverse over scree under Vrtača and ascent to it via Mala glava. Descent on steep grasses by southern gully and back to valley.
At times quite strong wind, but didn't bother us too much. nasmeh
