Gdu bo meni reku svinja26. 08. 2015 10:40:49
Like probably no one else, I'm not thrilled about trash in bivouacs either, but this can be solved quite simply by later visitors taking some leftover can or soup bag, putting it with their own trash and carrying it down to the valley.
Of course it annoys you a bit when someone doesn't clean up after themselves, but I think such cases are quite rare. Sometimes the opposite happens, often someone leaves a bag of coffee, chocolate for others, in colder months some schnapps...
For me the bigger problem is fleas and lice, which you have to share a rainy night with whether you like it or not, and because of that you barely sleep nasmeh

In good weather there's no need to store food in the bivouac and thus trash. It's different if there's strong wind and cold outside. It would also be practical to leave shoes outside when weather allows, because the floor is already completely rusty from dirt.

Yeah right. One thing are hooligans who stomp with shoes on the walls. As for taking off shoes - let's be realistic. As it's not done in huts, it's not done in bivouacs either.

Mountain huts mostly have ceramic floors, this bivouac is entirely made of larch wood. Secondly, in this bivouac you don't walk much in boots anyway. If you enter in bad weather, leave shoes at the entrance. Learn some order, otherwise there's no point going to the mountains and learning from them. Mountains and creation are ruled by rules, the more you follow them within yourself, the closer you'll be to heaven.
In general, realize that installed material in mountains doesn't mean the same as in the valley. At home you can go to Bauhaus, buy and simply replace, but what up there above 2000m?.

Viharnik, we'll need quite a few more years to raise culture and tidiness one step higher - and lower hooliganism and neglect by one step.

well, yeah. When a storm, thunder, lightning catches us on the way and there's a bivouac nearby, at least I will hurry to it, maybe out of breath, confused, and enter inside. First that. (taking off shoes is not a priority in such cases) Only then will I start to absorb the surroundings, conditions, written and unwritten rules.
Let the bivouac serve its purpose. And from materials durable enough to serve for decades of use.
The shape of the bivouac comes last. Maybe when the storm passes and it's time for smart talkmežikanje

Ruzowski, your reasons are completely understandable, human. But in your mountaineer's feelings I don't see justification for shoe prints on the bivouac wall. That's a reflection of primitivism and malicemrk pogled.

lino, of course, absolutely. I forgot to write that. Primitivism, malice, I would use an even harsher word.

I read all comments about the bivouac and soul; e.g. ascetic, from inside not much more than a roof over your head and shelter from wind and cold; about tap water and aftershave and pasta strainer and the like. The bivouac will have soul right away when it's at least -10 outside and wind howling around the corners, fog such that you won't even think of going home! Surely the bivouac gets soul when 30 people cram into it in November surviving the night amid laughter and dozing. It gets its own soul when waiting in it for rescuers to bring the friend who slipped to death the day before and we'll never laugh together again. Then the bivouac gets such a great soul as the balloon that fell on Barje years ago.
Soul was had by those who conceived and carried out the bivouac setup. And no soul did those who prevented the first setup have. Even when the bivouac is gone; besides sheet metal and flimsy boards the soul is still there.
