Don't worry too much about food and drink. About a liter and a half of water or cedevita, a sandwich and some chocolate. That's what I take, it depends on the individual how much they need. But water at Kredarica is expensive. And one more thing - better sleep at Staničeva koča than at Kredarica, cleanliness at Kredarica is disastrous, at least 2 years ago. Toilets smell so bad you can hardly live. Good luck!

Water is not quite suitable for the mountains, because it burdens the body or digestion and thereby wastes precious energy unnecessarily. Isotonic drinks are recommended, either bought or homemade (water, salt, sugar, lemon or citric acid). I haven't made the latter yet, so I don't know the ratios (whoever knows, let them share). 1.5 l of water may be too little. More professional advice on nutrition in the mountains worth considering can surely be found on gore-ljudje.net.

Don't skimp on drinks. A person should drink a few sips of liquid every 15 to 20 minutes while hiking in the mountains. Best regards
