On Sunday I turned a bit towards Dolenjska - to Obolno; from Mali vrh there's a short path, just right for a light afternoon walk; the path or road very very muddy, so rubber boots would almost be better than hiking shoes; it was quite cold, wind also blew, so I didn't go to the top; but I could admire the beech tree along the path, which even snow can't harm; best regards

Sunday family hike, drive through Besnica valley towards Mali vrh, walk to Obolno. At the top nicely arranged, beautiful views towards Kamnik mountains, mists were drifting, wonderful autumn colors, sunny. We saw from Brana to Raduha and Zasavje hills, from Cicelj to Kum. Then descent to farm tourism at Obolno, which we'll visit when it's open. Additionally towards Leskovec village, before that turn right, but a bit too left and miss Kucelj. Add ascent to the opposite side to Škrjanščica 722m high. On the way back we notice another path and finally reach Kucelj, where there's a geodetic tower. Pleasant, relaxed wandering for relaxation. On the way home short stop at Žagarski vrh and look towards Vnajnarji, Volavelj, Prežganja and Janč... many paths still await us. When various troubles remind us, we're even more happy for every hike in good company, if we manage in the sun, plus autumn colors, even more beautiful...

Today nice afternoon walk to Obolno starting from Veliko Trebeljevo. From the top the main peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps are very nicely visible, especially the western part of Posavje hills, to the southeast the Ribnica-Kocevje long karst plateaus Mala gora, Velika gora, and also Stojna stand out.

For a change, hike to a smaller hill - from start to summit and back in two hours. Path mostly dry, here and there some icy steps; snow just a trace. More at: https://www.gore-ljudje.si/Kategorije/Novosti/obolno-2

Monday morning I used for cycling to Obolno: Ljubljana - Besnica valley - Veliko Trebeljevo - Obolno - Mali vrh - Kožljevec - Pance - Podlipoglav - Ljubljana. Altogether I cycled 57 km on asphalt, gravel and tracks. Due to the swelter no good views. Still excellent tour to the highest peak of Ivančna Gorica municipality.
