Hi! I'm interested if anyone here has experience with off-road baby strollers. Looking for a used one. Among the offers, I most often see Bebe Confort High Trek, TFK Joggster or Jane Slalom Pro. Curious if anyone has experience with these strollers. I'd need one that could, for example, get to the saddle of Šmarna gora from Zavrha (along the car path) and wouldn't fall apart after multiple uses. I'd also use it for gravel, field paths etc. Backpack is not an option. Thanks and best regards

The first two I don't know that well, but Jane Slalom Pro served us quite well. However on more groomed, gravel paths. In my opinion it's just a fancier stroller, since its usability on "more demanding" terrains (gravel, holes, roots...) soon becomes uselessness. That's why we sold it and continued using the ABC design tricycle, which had a fixed front wheel and was also more robust. We then wore that one almost to pieces. But it lasted much longer than Šmarka. And easily two could ride on it. lp d

It's been a long time since we dealt with the same question at home. In the end we decided to buy a Teutonia stroller and never regretted the decision. We used the stroller almost non-stop on paths from Erika to the hut in Krnica, to the hut in Tamar and on all other such paths in that area. The stroller held two children without any problems. All we replaced were the tire casings. Worn material of course.

Thanks for the answers. In the end I decided for the new TFK Joggster X. Currently they are on sale, so you can get them for 400€ already. Used offers at some smart price relative to condition, well no.

Hello! I'm wondering which baby stroller would be most suitable for some light mountain adventures, for mountain terrain... Does anyone have experiences which one performs best on "non-asphalt" terrains? Thanks for the info!

JANE Slalom Reverse. That was our choice. No obstacles for this stroller. But it's heavy, about 10kg

We go with our Ema on trips like Dovška baba, Blejska koča, Martuljški slapovi (to Ingota), Krvavec etc. To Šmarna gora from Zavrha even during the week, because it doesn't take much time. Transport: Otto Bock Kimba Cross. btw: Ema is disabled

I'm also dealing with choosing a stroller these days. OK I know wheels must be large and rubberized, not plastic. And I also prefer gravel, through the forest over asphalt. Has anyone noticed a difference in favor of 3-wheelers? Just looking at Bebe Comfort High Trek, Quinny Freestyle 3xl, Cam Cortina X3 Evolution, and some 4-wheeler like Tutek grander caught my eye. We're looking for used but well-preserved ones. We need 2-in-1: bassinet + sports seat or whatever it's called.

As you wrote, large rubber wheels, that's it. We with the first child (2012) took a state package (I think it's no longer available), which included a stroller, simple, with large wheels, lower price range, and it carried two kids over meadows, tracks, gravel and asphalt. We really used it up, didn't take care of it. Like the one in the photo, but red. Hope you find something good! Good luck with the offspring!

Bolha and FB are full of ads for various strollers. Something will turn up. Mine says he could maybe push it with rollers sometimes (me, no, haven't rollerbladed in 100 years). And I realized handbrake is mandatory equipment. Otherwise I'm super happy that you can go to many nearby hills, even Kofce with a stroller, along the gravel road to the hills. We also have a backpack, but that would have to be a bigger one to carry. Yeah, thanks. Until I started looking at strollers, I had no idea there were soooooo many options. And thanks for the kind wishes, lately I'm so emotional it almost brought me to tears...hormones
