Ojstrica from Robanov kot

I checked all eighteen pages of titles. There are quite a few Ojstrica titles, but not this one. I also read the report of an early spring hike attempt on this path, but it ended quickly in the rocks because with 20 cm of snow, the pegs and rocky steps are no longer visible. It was smart to turn back.

The path to Robanov kot from Kranj is quite long, but with dawn already past Robanov travnik and Robanova planšarija through the forest into the rocks. At the waterfall in under an hour. Now the first cables and pegs. There are 257 meters and 342 pegs on the path. Andrej Stritar counted them and mentioned them in his guide Kamniško-Savinske Alpe, which I warmly recommend. After the initial cables, we climb for a while on short, rubble-filled, today also damp serpentines. After half an hour, that's the end and the rocky section with its iron starts. The path is masterfully laid out, steps carved into the rock, I don't know such a beautiful secured path. It looks great in the gully area below the Žvižgavec wall. After an hour and a half, we're at the top, the difficulties end or the demanding climbs, and now past Molička planina with the chapel. Here they renovated the former Kocbek hut into a pleasant spot. It had a lot of visitors. From here you can already climb to the ridge and go over the ridge to Ojstrica. I went to Sedlec, from where you can see all of Korošica with Kocbekov dom. From there to Ojstrica. The path pleasantly leads to the ridge, past Mala Ojstrica, where there's a mini Aljaž tower, and then climbing through the rocks to the top of Ojstrica. Up there as many visitors as if it were Triglav. Back down the direct path to the hut. The path in the upper part is rubble-strewn and steep and goes straight down. In a good hour at the hut, bean soup, a few pics and back the same way. Since I already knew it from the ascent, no problems. Really nice tour. Next year I'll definitely repeat, just a month earlier when there will be even more flowers. There's still a lot, but autumn is approaching, unless it jumps straight to winter.
Ojstrica from Robanov kot Lonely parking lot at dawn with only my car at the beginning of Robanov kot in front of the tourist farm with signs.1
Ojstrica from Robanov kot I admire those panels everywhere.2
Ojstrica from Robanov kot Robanov kot is very beautiful.3

Ojstrica from Robanov kot First beautiful views towards the peaks.5
Ojstrica from Robanov kot Waterfall over moss in a dispersed jet falls over rocks onto gravel ground below and water immediately sinks. Water flow is low, on return one can even take a little shower catching a glass of water.6
Ojstrica from Robanov kot Right at the waterfall the only wooden steps with wire ropes. Ahead countless steps carved into the rock.7
Ojstrica from Robanov kot Countless sections with wire ropes and pegs.8

Ojstrica from Robanov kot For a mountaineer accustomed to this ironmongery the path is relatively easy. There is about an hour of this ironmongery.12
Ojstrica from Robanov kot Pictures cannot recreate that pleasant feeling when you are alone in the rock, around you perhaps only a mountain eagle calls.13
Ojstrica from Robanov kot Once out of the rocks we are quickly at Molička planina with the hut and chapel.14
Ojstrica from Robanov kot From Sedelce above Korošica to the ridge past Mala Ojstrica to Ojstrica. Beautiful view of the entire Korošica.15

Ojstrica from Robanov kot The summit of Ojstrica approaches.17
Ojstrica from Robanov kot I don't know if I had so much crowd on any summit on my hikes this year as there was on Saturday on Ojstrica summit.18
Ojstrica from Robanov kot At the hut the picture is the same as at the top - crowd. With such visits the caretakers are happy.19
Ojstrica from Robanov kot I don't like these things along the Korošica at all. As a nature conservationist, I do not approve of such behavior. I know that shepherds take care of the non-overgrowth of the highlands, but I think it could be taken care of a little differently for the20

This with burning, we do the same at our place in spring on the grass, even in the forest (in the open), we burn branches sometimes, when I went with dad and mom to the forest to cut spruces, we always burned branches, wherever, it smoked so much that in nice weather it was visible from Triglav.nasmeh

Just wondering, when does the ban on burning in nature apply then, I think it always does.

for sanitary reasons branches of conifers can be burned in certain cases to prevent spread of bark beetles.

Ban on burning in nature (and residential areas) due to high fire risk and harmful impact on environment declared by Republic Administration for Protection and Rescue. And doesn't apply 365 days a year. Usually from April to September (depending on weather), municipalities have own decrees, so not necessarily whole country.
We had police visit at home already, but no fine because not during burning ban. Otherwise fines quite high.

Regarding the lubadar, it's completely clear to me, ...
well, then you have to check the individual municipal regulations.

Nice tour, Velkavrh. I had it in mind too, it will wait for next year as soon as possible when there will be full of flowers along the path... I can't do everything because there are still other hills and all alone... maybe I'll join you next yearnasmeh
