Igor, very nice, just a pity Miklavž didn't "stoke" a bit more. As I say, for that one needs the right "heart" and you definitely have it. Good luck.

Nice Igor, that snowy idyll can still be seen from the Bovec end of Slovenia. Mountains fully within reach. In Ljubljana it's continuous gray from which it occasionally drizzles and it's quite southerly, snow until Thursday, when it cools some will remain anyway.

The last weather improvement here was on Saturday 4.12, the next day it worsened again, so we're back in the gray.

(29.11.2024) Interesting hike. Kal - Koritnica - Čelo - Kal - Hum. Descent to the vehicle. Then we left the car somewhere on the road between Bovec and Kluže. We viewed the church of St. Lenart. It was open for viewing. We continued past the Kukč farm to Sleme. Or Mali Svinjak. Or as the Austrians called it back then in WWI when they had positions right below the summit - Kleiner Svinjak. We didn't know the path to the summit. Although there were lots of leaves on the path, it was somewhat traceable. Steep all the way. The summit is not even high. Just 1161 m. Still, it ended up 15.8 km and 1422 m elevation gain. The hike that in a shorter day took eight hours and forty-seven minutes. On descent we missed the branch to the valley and went some time towards Kal Koritnica. Then off-trail down to Kukč farm and just right in the dusk to the vehicle.
