Today for my 100th HPO control point I choose an easier and interesting path, because I took my better half along.
We park at entrance 2 for Plitvice Lakes and before the overpass, right for the lakes, we turn left onto a nicely marked and normally passable path to the summit of Sharp Medvjedak. We return the same way and continue to tour Plitvice Lakes (adult admission 250 kuna).
For our tour we choose path H, which has a schedule of 4 - 6 h and length 8900 m. First we ride with the "bus" from station 2 to station 3 and start exploring Plitvice Lakes along the path Prošćansko jezero - Ciginovac - Okrugljak - Veliko jezero - Batinovac - Galovac - Veliki and Mali Prštavac - Galovački buk - Milino jezero - Gradinsko jezero - Jezero Burget - Kozjak (which we cross with a boat) - Milanovac - Gavanovac - Kaluđerovac - Jezero Novakovića brod - Veliki slap, then instead of riding from station 1 to station 2, we extend the walking length along Kozjak lake to station 2 or parking 2.
I was last here in summer almost 30 years ago, in winter 2 years ago, given the crowd , I'll return soon, of course in winter .
