First a short explanation. Otmar's Path is not the same as Otmarjeva ferrata in Gradiška Tura, but both are named after Otmar Črnilogar, a priest, enthusiastic mountaineer and man of many talents. The described path connects ten surrounding churches into a circular route and was created on his suggestion. We learned about it completely by chance and we perk up our ears for novelties . I didn't have much data for planning the route. All that's available is a not very readable map on PD Vipava (here), a little description of the path and that's it. I couldn't find GPS tracks anywhere. So I drew the known connections on a digital map, the rest we decided to solve on the go. I also counted on dedicated Otmar's Path signs and I was way off . Locals know the route and they didn't put up signs despite the long tradition of the mentioned path. We're not all locals, so we had to find our own way. We succeeded. We visited each of the ten churches, only the part from Griž to Sv. Tomaž we apparently walked our own way. We didn't find the poorly drawn connections on the map, so a local woman from Griž advised us the path via hamlets Sele and Stomaž. Probably a bit longer, but based on what we saw we didn't regret it for a moment. Everything else was straightforward, so we could enjoy exploring new places . More in the photo story, GPS track is now available from me.
