Over Vrh Laške Planje to Kanin

I'm interested if anyone has already gone from Učja or Žaga over Vrh Laške Planje to Visoki Kanin. I'd like to try this route, but I can't find a description or difficulty. Is climbing gear needed for this path and when approximately does the snow melt enough to make it passable.

I recommend in the opposite direction, because the elevation gain is really significant — over 2000m. But it's true that this year it's still the case, because the gondola isn't working ... unless you connect to Preval.

You can find the description in Mihelič - Julijske Alpe guidebook. I went from Žaga to v. Babe. To pl. Baban it's well marked, then you walk through a grassy valley to the saddle between Baban (Dolina). Here the markers are hidden in the grass so it's almost pathless. At the saddle between Baban towards Vrh Žlebi I saw no markers or trodden path, but it's very well marked on the Italian side to the bivouac. I recommend September or October. From pl. Baban the whole path is exposed to the sun, I advise against it in fog. If you're not a mountain runner, split the tour into two days. You won't need climbing gear as it's a marked path (if still ??).

Can someone attach photos or video of the traverse between Kanin and Vrh Laške Planje?

P. S.:
(In the past I did a one-day traverse from the Kanin cable car along the ridge to Kanin, then over Vrh Laške Planje to V. Babe and V. B. Skednja and across back up towards the hut.
Then as an ordinary footpath mountaineer I didn't use any technical aids, because from the map I understood the path is »marked« and thus »protected« - of course without iron.)
