I would like something like what Himalayans have. i.e., mask, regulator, bottle. Asked at PZS and they say they buy this gear in Himalayas. Don't really need oxygen, compressed air is fine, for 10-minute trips in very dusty conditions. Any advice welcome.

Ask at the Institute for Occupational Safety.

Thanks for the info. But I wouldn't go for a gas mask, I tried that theory in the army. Here there will be terrible heat too. Although without filters it might be better. Anyway, the mask needs to cover mouth and nose, eyes don't need to.

Are you kidding? I don't know, then get diving gear? Have you maybe thought in that direction? Don't complicate, just buy a mask that car painters use, and that's it...?
