Depends also on age. Perskindol helps my father, but the pain is also conditioned by age.

I suggest you describe in which position or exactly where in the knee you feel the pain. Mine hurts the ligaments under the kneecap, so when the knee under weight goes from 90° angle to standing position (Patellar tendonitis). I found strengthening exercises on the internet and it's really much better.

A few years ago I had pain in my knee just like that, I solved my problems exactly with spruce ointment and persistence. Now I see on the packaging the address - www.smrekovit.si, tel.04 257 22 00 (own experience) Trying doesn't hurt! Maybe I forgot to mention that the man who makes the ointment will give you personal advice or therapy at home.

And while we're on creams, "miraculous" also works the ointment you get from vets- Topic from TF: http://www.tekaskiforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=19478&hilit=konjska+mast* As for knee injuries, and also other joints and muscles, various creams can help, but they won't heal the issue. The R.I.C.E. principle is also effective, especially warming up and stretching exercises. Well, visiting a physiotherapist or even an orthopedist doesn't hurt if needed. I myself turned to a physiotherapist because of problems with my left knee, and it turned out that it's not so much the problematic knees, but that I put all the weight on my right leg and most of my problems stem from that, the kneecap is somewhat weak, but for that I use fixation straps. I also got a sea of exercises for balance and strengthening thigh muscles, and nordic walking was also recommended.
