parking lot in Stare Fužine

On Monday we're going from Starih Fužinah to Triglav and I'm wondering about the parking payment.
We'll start a bit before 5 am and I know no one collects parking fees at that time.
What about the barrier then, so we don't have any problems, because we're returning on Wednesday.

At the parking lot in Stara Fužina there's a parking meter, parking costs 10 €, expensive!
Does anyone know of a free parking spot nearby?

You can drive to the hut at Voje, but you're basically in the same situation, because the toll is 10 €. You can park there though.

Yes, that's why the hut in Voje is falling apart, because Bohinj folks charge the same access to it as to Pl. Blato. No common sense here, since many would climb in summer also from Voje to Uskovnica or Velo polje. Heard that even Bohinj people can't agree among themselves on these "tolls, parkings".

Can someone then explain to us where to park so that we get back to the car.
We plan the route past Vodnikov dom, return via Vogar.

From own experience I advise to leave the car at the parking above Stara Fužina - where they collect toll for the road to Vogar and Voje. There is a parking meter. I agree that 10 € is an excessive amount, but if you leave the car anywhere along the road towards Vogar or Voje, the municipal warden will fine you 40€.
In Stara Fužina itself, parking is allowed only for 2 hours. If you exceed the time or don't have a clock on the window with the marked arrival time, the same fine awaits you. Checked!

For 30€ with Agip petrol you can already drive to Lienz and back to the Korensko sedlo border.

There are instructions at parking meters everywhere for daily or hourly parking, nothing is written about multi-day parking.
Given the price for three days, it is cheaper to park e.g. in Bohinjska Bistrica and use the bus - according to the timetable it would be possible to combine (almost) as you wish or use a taxi. Anyway cheaper than fines, even than parking, and less worry about what awaits you upon arrival.

For three days, in my opinion, the best is to ask someone to drive you there and pick you up. Unless you are exactly from the other end of Slovenia. I usually do that if possible. It is cheaper than any parking fees. Or you can start at Planina Blato and pay 10 euros toll only once. Otherwise, potepinka's suggestion is the best. The bus (Alpetour) from Bohinjska Bistrica to Stara Fužina costs 1.8 euros. http://www.alpetour.si/index.php?page=vozni_redi&item=13

Just one more thing interests me, how is parking at Vojah.
Where is the barrier and how is the payment. And also, does the barrier open when you pay or how else.
We plan to start at 4 o'clock, we are from Styria so we do not have much chance that someone drives us or comes to pick us up.

The ramp (rope across the road) or collection of parking fee - toll is at the parking lot in Stara Fužina and you pay regardless of whether you go to Blato or to Voje. If you are there so early I think you will get through, because they do not collect yet then and in my opinion the road is open. In Voje I think there is no problem parking near the hut. And for three days you pay 10 euros once. LP

just.... everything and you go to the mountains at 4am...  it is true that with the collected money they maintain and plow the road, we have to admit that. The road is beautiful!

gobica so far (knock on wood) I haven't experienced such an unpleasant surprise neither at Savica nor at Blato. No matter if it was for one or two days. Anyway you just enjoy and it will be fine. LP
