That's what happens if you don't understand the instructions on the parking meter well enough (otherwise in Slovenian and English), but you're honest and pay for two days with two tickets only with the same date.
You put a request on the windshield in Slovenian and German not to fine you, since you'll return the next day afternoon - which is paid!
Friendly parking managers on Pokljuka put clamps slyly on the front right wheel, which is forbidden (possibility of vehicle damage if you don't notice the clamps)!
Because they save in Gorenjska style, they don't tuck any notice under the wiper or anywhere else!
I felt really good as a Slovene when we discussed our friendliness next to the unfortunate German's car with a group of French and Austrians....

Jure1977 I think that's not the warden's job, the mayor has nothing to do with it either, the parking manager does that. This parking lot is owned by the Pokljuka Sports Center, who manages it, just google a bit, there aren't many Gorenjci involved except when work needs to be done for the race to succeed. It's good that most parking lots are owned by the army which is not allowed to charge parking fees.
LG I think from RP to Uskovnica it's no longer allowed to park anywhere, the hut is also without parking. The road from Srednja vas to Uskovnica according to some ZGS decree also prohibits driving in summer for 3 months

But the manager can't just mount the clamps himself, only some "official person" who has a contract with the manager can do that. So the manager called the warden, and he came with the clamps.
But something else is possible... you can't see exactly in the picture, but is the vehicle by chance a camper? Because wardens are allergic to those anyway and I think they don't care at all if someone is inside or not, they don't even care about the paid parking fee. Again probably due to limited headspace...

@dragonar; my post was not criticism of the mayor, because I know he's not responsible for it, nor do I know him and have no right to judge him in any way. But he could have written a short letter on behalf of the municipality where the parking lot is located, on behalf of all of us together. As long as we think in a way that everyone only does what they are formally responsible for or tasked with, nothing more, unfortunately there will be no progress. And to avoid misunderstanding, I mean this generally for all of us and not just specifically for the mayor, who in my opinion has a nice opportunity here to show himself and let tourists know with a nice gesture that they care about tourists or guests.
