Pasture behind Migovec - Ukanc

Does anyone know the path mentioned above, is it passable and how is the orientation? The path is not marked, but it significantly shortens the distance if returning from Vrh nad Škrbino to the valley, rather than going to Komna and to Savica. Thanks and best regards!

I can only partially answer you. Last year returning from Vogel a bit before Globoko saddle, a marked path branches off towards pl. Zadnji Vogel. Then you just descend via Žagarjev graben to Ukanc. The mentioned path is much shorter than via Komna if heading to Ukanc. But the pl. Zadnji Vogel - Ukanc path is very boring as you walk on ski slope where sand(gravel) is hard as concrete. I also spotted on the map a drawn path directly from pl. za Migovcem to Ukanc. Judging by contour lines it's quite steep. Hope you get info for that path too. lp Rajty

If you haven't walked this path yet I recommend getting to know it first by starting in the valley. From the lower station of the gondola cable car you go along Žagarjev graben for a good two kilometers. When the path (actually ski slope) turns very steeply uphill after about 30 meters a hunters' path to Melj branches off. Easy to follow. At about 1100m the path right to hunters' hut on Melj, left towards planina Za Migovcem. Actually both variants lead to the marked path from Komna to Vogel. If you turn left at the junction you'll reach the aforementioned path at planina Za Migovcem, if via Melj then a bit more north (towards Komna). If returning this way, be careful at pl. Za Migovcem. Where visible remains of the guard post are, branch east. Initially hard to follow the path, then no problem.
