Pastures Vogar, Viševnik, pri Jezeru

Thank you sooo much! Črno jezero - yes, it would be nice, but not at any cost. I was already hesitating a lot, as kids usually don't tolerate boring and unpleasant paths best - and since it would be the return path, it could spoil the whole weekend, which will otherwise surely be great nasmeh. So we'll walk that path three times some other time... or maybe not zavijanje z očmi. Črno jezero we can visit some other time as a separate trip, from the other side (Savica), fine. And then we can easily choose (slightly longer) path 1, which appealed to me from the start, as the path to planina Viševnik without detour to Črno jezero will be shorter nasmeh.

Merkur, you really did a good deed today, you know mežikanje. Thanks again!

I too have walked the path between Črno jezero and Planina Viševnik "three times", like Merkur. It really is very wet. Regarding the unmarked path. I tried it, it was nicely traceable for a long time, but it ended in a spruce thicket and I didn't have the courage to continue. So I turned back and went to Planina Viševnik via the "wet" variant.
Enka, why not over Pršivec, that's the scenic balcony of Bohinj?

This now is, I know, totally superfluous, but I join Laščan ... actually I offer for consideration the option that if you're already turning off the path (I assume from Ovčarije) to planina Viševnik, then take that extra hour to visit Pršivec - stimulate the kids with the "view" of the abyss and Bohinj Lake from bird's eye view. Then, when you're up there full of nice views, it makes sense to at least think about or even try direct descent to Vogar ... I understand, the dilemma is the children, but if the accompanying adults know how to take care of things, then ... Well, anyway, when you're at the top you still have all options. nasmeh

Both are very convincing, I have to admitnasmeh. So, we've left the decision on the path from Ovčarije to Vogar open. If the kids don't whine too much and energy is right, we'll go over Pršivec. The problem is really the children, yes. Not so much because of that steep part on descent from Pršivec, but because the path is longer and more demanding. You just have to make sure that hiking trips don't leave a bad memory for the young ones. Because then they don't want to go next time mrk pogled.

Big thanks to everyone who contributed to us having an unforgettable weekend! We didn't climb Pršivec after all and from planina Viševnik in the end due to injury we took the direct way to planina pri Jezeru and then the known (access) path to Vogar. But these areas completely enchanted us and we'll surely come back. Even the kids didn't grumble much nasmeh.

On all pastures we visited, people are very very friendly and we felt really welcome. But they were most glad to see us on Viševnik nasmeh
