In search of white spots on the map and avoiding coronavirus today in the hills above Kotredež. Beautiful day and peaceful nature, and complete surprise at the incredible beauty of the habitat I visited. I won't advertise too much, because I don't have Zasavje citizenship . If any visitor besides locals ends up here, I strongly recommend it to lovers of pathless and solitary areas. The peaks despite modest height nicely work the muscles. For my variant I spent good 3.5h. There are of course many more options for crossings, difficulties and path combinations.

Hi Andi. On the descent towards Kotredež is the path normally passable (i.e. traceable)? On my last visit there were quite a few fallen trees. Thanks.

From the hunting lookout to the hut (ranch) you walk on a nice path, no trees on the path this time. There are also some hunting signs and salt licks. I think you could follow it upwards similarly. On all three ridges there's not much fear of getting lost in good weather, because they are relatively narrow and clearly directed throughout. But you can choose a more demanding variant if you enter one of the rocky slopes along the ridge. best, Andrej
