A few Saturday snapshots from the trip from the Knödelhütte hut to the summit of Peterer Riegel.
The trail is normally passable.
The toll to the Knödelhütte hut (1407 m) was 2 euros.

That's how it was yesterday on the path Hirschegg - Seinerkreuz - Hirschegger Alm - Bernsteinhütte - Hirschegg.
The trail is normally passable.
Parking spaces in the village of Hirschegg are free.

This time from the Reichenfels settlement through Roßbachgraben and over the Peterer Sattel saddle to Peterer Riegel. I descended past the Peterer Hütte hut back to Reichenfels.
The path through Roßbachgraben, or further along the Sattelbach stream, is indicated as marked on the maps. Lower down, while the path follows the road, the markers are quite rare; higher up along the streambed there are almost none, and there the path mostly no longer exists.
The descent path however is nicely marked and trodden.
Conditions yesterday were very wintry, both in terms of the cold and because it was very windy higher up.
