On Saturday, 17.11., we did a really nice and long circular tour. We started at pl. Polog, then past the Tolminka spring to the foot of Kuntara and off-path to pl. Lašca. The crossing under Kuntar is marked with cairns; it just disappears in the gully torn up by the last rain, but it's traceable. From pl. Lašca a mule track leads along the right side of Palec, crosses the scree under the peaks above Lužnica valley and joins the one coming from Prehodci at the monument. To Vrh nad Peski we then followed the markings. On the peak a strong and cold wind awaited us. Nice views, far around. We continued down Lužnica valley to pl. Leskovec, above it in a marked branch to pl. Sleme and past pastures Medrja, Laška seč to Javorca and back to Polog.

So I won't open a new topic, I'll write here. Yesterday from Planina Polog to Planina Prode and on to Planina pod Osojnico. From Planina pod Osojnico to Izvir Tolminke, from there back to start at Planina Polog. More about this nice loop path here:

Today early in the morning from planina Polog to the Tolminka spring at Prehodci. The markers have done exemplary work nasmeh

. On the steep part below the summit a nicely arranged wide path. Two poles are already installed, on which they will put directional signs, so the turn-off to planina Lašca will be well visible. I always like this tour, as you hardly meet anyone, complete wilderness. From Prehodci I head left towards Krn. Also planned to look closer at the bunkers looming above the path, but due to increasing cloudiness I change my mind and continue to the pyramid and on towards Vrh nad Peski. I meet the only living soul heading under Bogatin. Across the scree I climb to the summit. Return via Lužnica valley and Zatolmin pastures to the starting point at planina Polog.

Yesterday we went on this path for the first time. Where the turn-off is, they put up a sign for planina Lašca. That part where the path was impassable they have fixed. In these parts you really hardly meet anyone. The path is nicely visible all the way to the monument below Vrh nad Peski where we got yesterday. Descent over Prehodci saddle to the starting point. On this path there are two rockfalls. Rocks rolled and stayed on the path. Path is passable. This tour without going to the peak above Peski is as long as 23.5 km and 1700 m ascent. Yesterday there was moisture in the air and views were a bit worse. Somewhere it completely closed in. Under Palec and Rupa there was fog. Both Kuntars weren't visible either. On descent Šmohor was in the sun. Such days happen in June too.
