This morning I set off from Planina Jezerca along the marked path to Kriška Planina and then on to Planina Koren. Between Jezerca and Kriška the meadows are full of snowdrops, daffodils,... The path to Planina Koren is initially easy, then snow starts which sinks in on some sections. Especially annoying on two steep parts where poles are very helpful. No snow except on very sunny spots. Otherwise the path is varied. En route you can stop at a small hut a few meters below the path. Lots of snow still on the pasture, gaiters recommended to Kompotela. Nice sunny spring day.

Yesterday, on Saturday, I did a nice tour, Stahovica-Kamniški vrh-Za vrati-Planina Koren-Kompotela-Vrh Korena-V.Zvoh-Krvavec-Kriška planina-Ambrož-through Vrata to Stahovica. Although weather forecasters predicted bad weather, it was gorgeous....you see they are striking???

Today a little walk to Planina Koren. Starting point Planina Jezerce. Not much snow, weather pleasantly warm---nice little tour. Nice greeting

Evening! Has anyone these days walked from Markova raven to Planina Koren? How is the road, path?

This one was waiting for its owner in the bar on Planina Koren.

A few days ago (30.12) I drove towards Kamniška Bistrica and the road didn't look quite plowed and quite some snow was on it already at the gondola. Don't know how it was last two days with the type of precipitation there (snow/rain).

Yesterday I went to Markova raven. In the beginning on flat the road is normally drivable, higher only with chains. In last steep section old tracks from jeep. Question if possible with personal car. Also branches over road in places.

Yesterday I went with my grandsons from Planina Jezerca over Kriška Planina to Planina Koren and from Planina Koren on secured path (short section of cables) to Planina Košutna. It was a unique experience especially for the younger grandson, as we taught him to walk on secured path/cables. The granddaughter is a sport climber. Livestock on pasture on all planinas. Fridge at Planina Koren full of refreshing drinks from beer to water. Here it's on hikers' honesty. Everyone knows prices from huts and you put money in piggy bank-thanks honest ones.

Larch trees are already turning yellow, the forest is dressing in autumn colors which are already nicely visible especially where there is no oak- which was affected by invasive bug and lost its autumn colorfulness
