Is it possible to reach Planina Predolina from Čezsoča via Slaternika valley? On an old map there's a path drawn that reaches the road below the pasture.

I descended this path from Predolina to Čezsoča about twenty years ago, probably more. I found it easily up top, but when I reached the stream bed, I couldn't find the continuation beyond. There was quite a bit of fallen trees and overgrown area. So I returned to Predolina and continued towards Čez Utro, where I found the marked path and followed it back to the valley under Javoršček. Later I talked to a relative from Bc and some locals, all said it's overgrown and they don't go there anymore, but that it (back then) was easier to find from below, since once you reach the water, the continuation beyond is clearly visible. Which held true then, as I had a nice trail from Predolina to the stream. This trail is black on this map:

Thanks for the reply. If I understand correctly, after the landslide below Javoršček (red on map), they used the then path to Predolina (black) also as new path to Čez Utro. Is that path better preserved, or is it meant to use only the path past Golobar pasture back to Soča?

I haven't walked there since, so no idea about current condition. Maybe contact Robert Rot, president of PD Bovec and GV. He surely knows how it is now below Javoršček:

Last year we went by bike to Čez Utro and down to Čezsoča. Met some locals with a "hut" there who said not to go as it's impassable due to landslides. Well, even to Čez Utro was quite "fun" on sections, terrain generally soaked from rain and parts of path washed away. Probably turbo's suggestion is best.
