Planina Ravne - Molička peč (pasture)

Yesterday I went from Planina Ravne to Molička peč, that is to the chapel. The path was muddy all the time and nicely marked, only a few signposts need renewing and putting up new,

especially at intersections of individual paths. It was early morning so the path was frozen in places, so caution at certain spots won't hurt.

That day and the day before no one signed the logbook in the cave. The path itself was a great pleasure and I recommend it to all who want peace and real mountain delights.

But I'll tell my experiences: I walked more than 3 hours one way, as blueberries and other natural beauties on this path slowed me down considerably. How long is the official time, I don't know, but really not worth rushing! Best, Lj

It's true, on this tour it's not worth rushing. But blueberries I think there aren't anymore, so you'll spend about two hours of moderate walking on this path. Best Igor

I walked about 5 hours both ways since I was stopping to take pictures and look around. As my predecessors say, on this path it's NOT worth rushing but you just have to enjoy and be grateful whatever for those local delights, so put one foot in front of the other and lots of pleasures on the way

Now the road to Podvolovjek is fully asphalted. A bit before Črnivec pass, if coming from Kamnik direction, turn sharply left at the sign Kranjski rak-Podvolovjek. Drive towards Luče and at 11 km turn at the sign Ravne and Podvežak, which is on the right driving direction, LEFT. Follow Ravne signs and after about 30 min you'll find yourself at Planina Ravne. Drive across the pasture and after about 1 km park at the large parking lot in the forest. On the left side find the markings and HAPPY TRAIL

On Saturday we went from Planina Ravne to Molička planina. The road to Planina Ravne was still in pretty good condition. Now after the storm we'll see how it is.
I have to say there were few people on Planina Ravne so I recommend it to all who don't want too much crowds and constant HELLO. The hut was open, and the duty caretaker was friendly and opened the chapel for us and allowed viewing. Worth praising. Sometimes he has to leave suddenly, especially when bad weather is brewing. He has to fetch the sheep from the peaks to avoid possible lightning strikes.
We were lucky with the weather, as rain caught us around Velika planina, of course already on the way home.

In the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, a dead hiker was found on Molička peč above Luče shortly before 2 a.m.

The Celje Police Administration said the hiker died of natural causes, but details are not yet known. Rescuers from Celje set out for him to bring him to the valley, accompanied by police, as said by the administration for protection and rescue.

More detailed data on the deceased hiker are not yet known at this moment.
