Planina Razor - Črna prst (path via Vogel)

Soon I plan to head out on the trail from Planina Razor via Vogel to Črna prst. I'm interested in the current trail condition regarding snow. If anyone has been wandering around this trail recently, please let me know what the condition is.

Hello. I'm wondering if anyone has hiked recently from Planina Razor to Črna prst. What's the condition of the path? Is there any snow left, or what's the best time for this hike? Thanks for the answer smile

1-2/8/2020 - Krn Lake - Prehodci - Planina Dobrenjščica - Planina na Kalu - Planina Razor - Vogel - and on along SPP or home

My friend decided to hike the SPP from Maribor to Debeleg Rtič without breaks in "classic style" and finished it on Saturday - 26 days. I decided to accompany her through the Julian Alps as long as there is time / strength / will.

We started at the Mountain hut at Krn Lake and headed towards Prehodci and further to Planina Razor. The trail is looooong, luckily it wasn't too hot. And just when you think you're almost at Planina Razor, Dobrenjščica appears which is not the goal. Then you continue on the MOWN (hats off to whoever did that) towards Planina Razor and you arrive at Planina na Kalu and realize you're not at the goal yet and go further and further and further...

Then you arrive at Planina Razor, find out they have cold beer, good food and sun where you can dry the things you washed the previous day that didn't dry. Meanwhile you chat with strangers who soon become acquaintances (hey Trobec?). Then you meet some acquaintances who will also overnight, it starts raining and you have a few drinks. And the whole long walk becomes a bit easier.

We overnight and head to Vogel in the morning. She continues to Črna prst, I to Bohinj. The only day it rained a bit on me, she had more such experiences, also on the continuation to the coast.
